User Centered Design & Usability
The design of an interactive system greatly determines how easily and pleasurably people are going to interact with it. I use user-centered design principles and follow usability guidelines to make sure that websites I create instinctively guide the user towards their intended goals without compromising on aesthetics and visual appeal. When needed, I'll run quick usability tests in which I'll ask some people to use the website and see if things are understood and used as they were meant to. Having a passion for crafting the user experience of websites, I make sure the websites I create not only are easy to use but also motivate visitors to do the stuff you want them to do on your website... whether it's buying your product, registering for your services, giving you a call, or just reading what you've go to say.
Front-End Design and Development
With a clear focus on the target audience and their goals on the website, I use Photoshop to design the website which I then hand-code into standards-compliant HTML and CSS. This ultimately gets converted into an aesthetic, usable and high performing website running on the powerful Drupal CMS.
Web Analytics
Your website is up and running. Now what?
Now is the time to study how visitors behave on your website: what do they read? Where are they coming from? On what page do they leave? Did they notice your special offers?..
Understanding how your visitors behave on your website provides actionable insight into what is working and what isn't; which words needs to be changed... which link should be placed in a more prominent position... which image should be changed to better reflect the message...which functionality should be removed...or added... what were they searching on google before reaching your site?... Web Analytics tells you where you stand with your website. It helps you measure the success of your website, devise new strategies, develop new goals and even identify new business opportunities!
